Startup CPG Newswire:
Lottie’s Meats Expands at Target Stores Across the West Coast

PRESS RELEASE — NEWS PROVIDED BY Cassie Maschhoff for Lottie’s Meats

DENVER, CO (APRIL 2026)Lottie’s Meats, a sister-founded pork sausage brand, today announced its expansion into Target stores across Northern California, Washington and Oregon, this April. The brand was founded by Cassie and Chelsey Maschhoff and is rooted in their six-generation Illinois family farm. The launch marks the brand’s largest retail expansion to date and builds on Lottie’s presence in more than 300 existing retailers and restaurants nationwide.

At Target, the assortment includes all four of Lottie’s pork sausages in the refrigerated meat aisle, including two fully cooked sausages—The Lottie and Bratwurst—and two expertly seasoned ground pork blends: Calabrian and Everyday.

“Bringing Lottie’s Meats to Target marks a major milestone for our small business,” said Cassie Maschhoff, co-founder of Lottie’s. “Over the past two years, we’ve grown thoughtfully from local specialty retailers to independent regional chains, and we’re excited this expansion will make our chef-crafted pork sausages more accessible to home cooks who care about real ingredients, quality and flavor.”

Prior to launching Lottie’s, the sisters pursued careers in different industries—Cassie in tech and Chelsey in culinary—before coming together to build a brand rooted in their agricultural heritage and a shared belief that pork could be reintroduced to consumers in a fun and meaningful way.

Today, Lottie’s products are sold in specialty grocers and independent retailers across the country, including Nugget Markets, Bristol Farms, Sendik’s, Dierbergs and Lazy Acres. They recently launched on online marketplace Misfits Market, and the Target launch marks the company’s first large-scale, brick-and-mortar retail presence.

Unlike most sausage products that rely on trimmings, fillers and mystery meats, Lottie’s sausages are made using whole-muscle cuts of pork loin and pork shoulder, paired with bold spice blends and chef-developed techniques. The products are free of nitrates, fillers, preservatives, additives and artificial ingredients.

“As sisters who grew up on a pork farm, we know exactly where our pork comes from and the care that goes into raising quality animals,” said Chelsey Maschhoff, co-founder of Lottie’s. “We created Lottie’s to reflect our values—transparency, quality and flavor—while making premium pork products accessible to more people.”

Designed for modern home cooks, Lottie’s sausages combine bold flavor with convenience, making them versatile for weeknight dinners, entertaining and everyday meals.

Lottie’s products are available in the refrigerated meat section at Target stores across Northern California, Washington and Oregon.
