Tezza Foods Launches New Dairy-Free Greek-Style Yogurts at Select Whole Foods Market Stores in Northern California
PRESS RELEASE — NEWS PROVIDED BY Sophie Troyka for Tezza Foods
OAKLAND, CA (APRIL 2026) — Tezza’s new dairy-free Greek yogurts are now available at select Whole Foods Market stores in Northern California.
Tezza yogurts have the protein and probiotics of Greek yogurt—minus the dairy. Tezza yogurts also offer plant-based nutrients like fiber and omega-3s.
Like Greek yogurt, Tezza cultures and strains its yogurt to make it thick, creamy, and high-protein. Only Tezza starts with organic soymilk instead of cow’s milk. Soybeans are the only plants high in protein with a top protein quality score. In addition, soymilk uses significantly less land and water, generates fewer greenhouse gas emissions, and produces less pollution than dairy milk.
All of Tezza’s yogurts are crafted from wholesome, non-GMO ingredients like organic soymilk, live active cultures, and real fruit. Tezza yogurts are free from protein isolates, artificial sweeteners, added oils, and added starches.
Three flavors of Tezza’s yogurts are now available in the yogurt aisle at select Whole Foods Market stores in Northern California: Plain & Simple, Vanilla Bean, and Strawberry.
In addition to select Whole Foods Market stores, Tezza dairy-free Greek yogurts are also available at Berkeley Bowl and Rainbow Grocery in the San Francisco Bay Area; New Seasons Market, PCC Community Markets, and Metropolitan Market in the Pacific Northwest; and other natural grocers, with additional grocers to follow later in the year.
Visit tezzafoods.com/find for a full list of grocery stores that carry Tezza yogurts.
About Tezza
Tezza was founded on the belief that food should heal our bodies and planet.
While earning his PhD at MIT on the human gut microbiome, co-founder Nathaniel Chu began making his own homemade soymilk yogurt, inspired by the health and sustainability benefits of eating plant-based cultured foods.
Now, Tezza makes the first and only dairy-free yogurt that can go spoon-for-spoon with Greek yogurt. Made by culturing and straining organic soymilk into thick and creamy yogurt, it’s got the protein and probiotics of Greek yogurt, plus plant perks like fiber and omega-3s. Tezza yogurts are crafted from wholesome, non-GMO ingredients, like organic soymilk, live active cultures, and real fruit.
