Startup CPG Newswire:
Nitro Cold Brew Cauxffee® Launches as the First Ready-to-Drink Coffee Alternative

PRESS RELEASE — NEWS PROVIDED BY Darya Gorlova for Cauxffee

TULSA, OK (OCTOBER 2025) — Cauxffee®, a new adaptogen-based herbal coffee substitute, has introduced what it calls the first ready-to-drink caffeine-free nitro cold brew coffee alternative at the 2025 Holistic Oklahoma Wellness Event.

Made from only eight whole-brewed functional herbs, Cauxffee is designed to look, taste, and feel like coffee, without the caffeine, additives, or artificial ingredients.

Other coffee alternatives often take the form of mushroom powders and rely on added caffeine, or herbal root blends, like chicory or dandelion, that don’t offer stimulant or performance benefits.

Since Cauxffee uses adaptogens and nootropics, compounds known for their effects on focus and stress resilience, it doesn’t rely on caffeine for its performance-enhancing effects.

Cauxffee incorporates botanicals such as cacao, which has been linked in published research to cardiovascular benefits (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC9170467/), and ashwagandha, which has been studied for its potential to reduce stress and support resilience. (https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6750292/)

The functional beverage category is currently a 143.47B market and is forecasted to grow at a volume CAGR of 5.73% from 2025-2033 (https://www.imarcgroup.com/functional-beverages-market). The nootropics market is also poised to grow over the same period, at a CAGR of 14.74% (https://www.precedenceresearch.com/nootropics-market). All this, converging at a time when consumers are increasingly unwilling to sacrifice taste, but still want healthier swaps.

“Cauxffee was born out of my personal need for a non-caffeinated but still coffee-flavored afternoon pick-me-up. Good sleep is important to me, so caffeine-containing existing alternatives didn’t make the cut,” said Darya Gorlova, founder of Cauxffee.
“And after two years in the market in a brew-at-home format, the need for a more convenient, grab-and-go option became apparent.”

The drink is low-calorie and does not contain sugar or dairy, making it suitable for a wide variety of diets and food sensitivities, such as low-carb and plant-based diets.

What began as a loose-leaf herbal tea sold at the Tulsa Farmers’ Market, Cauxffee gained traction with musicians, bartenders, security guards, moms, and politicians seeking caffeine-free alternatives that were both better for their health, but just as convenient as canned energy drinks.

Cauxffee’s 8.4 oz cans (at $26/four-pack) are available online at cauxffee.com, shipping nationwide, in addition to retail and on-premise locations throughout the Tulsa area, including Tulsa Farmers’ Market To-Go, The Bend Mercantile, and Farm Hippie stores.
