ChunkyFit Protein Cookies Launches a Reformulated Recipe

AUSTIN, TX (FEBRUARY 2026) — ChunkyFit, the veteran-founded soft-baked protein cookie brand, has launched a completely reformulated recipe across its full product line. The updated cookies are made with coconut oil, collagen, and honey, with custom-developed natural flavor profiles for each variety. The new recipe is available now online at chunkyfitcookie.com, rolling out to retail partners, and coming soon to Amazon.
ChunkyFit worked with food scientists to rebuild the ingredient deck from the ground up, landing on coconut oil as the primary fat source for improved taste, mouthfeel, and shelf stability. Collagen was added for functional benefits, and each flavor now uses its own custom natural flavoring blend for a distinct, true-to-name taste.
“We wanted to build the protein cookie we’d actually choose over a regular cookie,” said Angel, co-founder of ChunkyFit. “That meant real ingredients, no artificial flavors, and flavors that actually taste like what’s on the label. Cookie first, but make it protein.”
The full lineup – Classic Chocolate Chip, Cookie Monster, Cookie Butter, Funfetti, and Nutty N’ Nice – delivers 16 grams of protein and under 200 calories per cookie, available in 4-pack and 10-pack configurations.
The recipe launch coincides with ChunkyFit’s transition from shared kitchen production to a co-manufacturing partnership. With production now handled externally, the founders are reinvesting into scaling operations, warehouse infrastructure, and retail expansion.
“When we were making every cookie ourselves, most of our time and money went into production,” said Scott, co-founder of ChunkyFit. “Now we can put everything back into growing the business – logistics, retail, and getting the brand in front of more people.”
ChunkyFit is currently available in over 80 mom and pop retail locations nationwide while also including Scheels and select GNC franchise locations.
