Social Media Intern will design our social media strategy, develop a voice for our online presence, and manage social media content as we build community and execute events in the food tech and food startup space. In this capacity, you will work directly to highlight leading food and beverage entrepreneurs while creating a community that educates and connects them with critical expertise. You will build a strong network of brand-builders while working to support better-for-you, more sustainable, and ethical food and drink. In addition to events, there will be opportunities to get involved in other aspects of the organization that are aligned with your interests.
Time commitment is 5 hours per week and required attendance at as many monthly events as possible (one night per month, ~2 hours). This is a volunteer organization so it is an unpaid internship but you will have excellent exposure in this role and lots of room to work on additional areas of interest and develop expertise.
