PRESS RELEASE — NEWS PROVIDED BY Jamie LaDuca for The Matzo Project
BROOKLYN, NY (OCTOBER 2026) —The Matzo Project, the Brooklyn-based food company putting a modern, flavorful spin on traditional matzo and Jewish pantry staples, launched in approximately 200 Target stores nationwide in late September, establishing a year-round presence with the retailer. Beginning November 1, the brand will expand to more than 600 Target stores through December 15, bringing its lineup of matzo, matzo chips and matzo ball products to even more shoppers nationwide for the holidays. Select products are also available on Target.com.
The Brooklyn-made, Miami-grandma-inspired brand has reimagined traditional Jewish favorites with more flavor, better-for-you ingredients and a playful personality, making matzo and other staples something people want to enjoy year-round, not just during Passover.
For the holidays, The Matzo Project is also debuting its new Hanukkah Chocolate-Dipped Matzo Chips, a limited-time treat available at Target and other retailers. The new offering features salted matzo chips dipped in milk chocolate and covered in blue and white nonpareils. At Target, the seasonal product will be available as part of the expanded November 1 through December 15 holiday assortment.
“This new partnership with Target helps us further The Matzo Project’s goal of elevating the foods and sharing the flavors we grew up on with so many more tables around the country,” said Avi Markus, Co-Owner and CEO of The Matzo Project. “And launching our new Hanukkah Chocolate-Dipped Matzo Chips for the holidays, including in 600 Target stores, is a heckuva introduction to our brand. Our team is elated.”
The Target assortment includes seven core products, plus the new Hanukkah Chocolate-Dipped Matzo Chips for the holiday season. The core products include:
Everything Matzo Flats
Salted Matzo Flats
Everything Matzo Chips
Salted Matzo Chips
Cinnamon Sugared Matzo Chips
Matzo Ball Soup Kit
Matzo Ball Mix
The seven core products in Target’s year-round assortment are priced from $4.79 to $6.99 and are kosher, vegan, nut-free, dairy-free and made with all-natural ingredients.
The Target rollout comes at a pivotal moment for The Matzo Project, which has grown revenue fivefold over the past two years, including tripling revenue in 2026 alone. The brand now reaches consumers in more than 5,000 retail stores nationwide, and its expanded Target presence brings its craveable take on these traditional favorites to more shoppers across the country.
