Chlorophyll Water Expands with The Fresh Market
PRESS RELEASE — NEWS PROVIDED BY Matt Levine for Chlorophyll Water
NEW YORK, NY (SEPTEMBER 2026) — Chlorophyll Water, a pioneer in the chlorophyll category and America’s first-ever bottled water to pass Clean Label Project Certification, announces its availability at all 173 The Fresh Market stores across 22 states, continuing its national expansion to meet growing consumer demand.
Chlorophyll Water combines ultra-purified water, chlorophyll sourced from alfalfa and vegan vitamins A, B12, C and D. Light lemon and spearmint notes offer a refreshing way to incorporate chlorophyll into an everyday routine.
“The Fresh Market has always been a goal for us because of its commitment to quality and carefully curated products,” said Matt Levine, founder of Chlorophyll Water. “We’re excited to reach this milestone and grateful to their team for believing in what we’re building.”
The global chlorophyll extract market is projected to grow approximately 56% faster than coconut water and 40% faster than U.S. bottled water, comparing published annual growth forecasts through 2030 from Polaris Market Research and Grand View Research.
Chlorophyll Water earned Walmart’s Open Call Golden Ticket as one of 100 brands selected from more than 12,000 applicants. Spate Market Research, an AI-powered consumer forecasting platform, named it a Top Trending Brand and explored its rise as “The Chlorophyll Water Phenomenon.” The brand also ranked No. 9 among more than 90,000 brands on RangeMe’s Top 50 Food & Beverage list and appeared on the cover of Beverage Industry magazine as “Nature’s Green Magic.”
Additional honors include California Grocers Association Emerging Brand of the Year finalist recognition, selection for Kroger-founded Nourishing Change’s Emerging Brands Competition, and finalist recognition from The Beverage Forum’s Ones to Watch and Startup CPG’s own Shelfie Awards, which attracted more than 2,000 entries.
Chlorophyll Water has earned Clean Label Project Certification for four consecutive years, with independent screening for more than 90 environmental toxins, harmful chemicals, plasticizers and pesticide residues.
Its 16.9-ounce and 1-liter bottles use 100% recycled plastic and CleanFlake™ label technology to support PET recycling. Through rePurpose Global, every bottle sold supports recovery of the equivalent of one ocean-bound plastic bottle. Recently introduced 16-ounce aluminum cans complement the bottle lineup.
Chlorophyll Water is now available at all The Fresh Market locations.
